PCOSKEY® FertilOva is a premium formula dietary supplement designed for women with PCOS who are trying to conceive. It combines supplements like Vitamin C, Vitamins D, Vitamins E, Folate (6S-5-Methyltetrahydrofolate Calcium), Myo-Inositol, Acetyl-L-Carnitine, L-Carnitine Fumarate, Alpha Lipoic Acid, Coenzyme Q10, Trans-Resveratrol Extract, and PQQ (Pyrroloquinoline Quinone) (as PQQ Disodium Salt) can provide a synergistic approach to managing PCOS and improving fertility.
Myo-Inositol helps to enhance insulin sensitivity, reducing insulin resistance common in PCOS, lowers testosterone levels and improves estrogen levels.
Acetyl-L-Carnitine (ALC) and L-Carnitine Fumarate can help to enhance cellular energy production by aiding in the transport of fatty acids into mitochondria. Reduces oxidative stress, which can improve egg quality and ovarian function.
Alpha Lipoic Acid (ALA) protects cells from oxidative damage. Improves insulin sensitivity and helps regulate blood sugar levels.
Coenzyme Q10 (CoQ10) Protects cells from oxidative damage, which is crucial for maintaining healthy eggs.
Trans-Resveratrol Extract reduces inflammation and oxidative stress, which are prevalent in PCOS. Enhances insulin sensitivity and helps in managing blood glucose levels.
PQQ (as NutriP PQQTM) may help reduce inflammation and improve mitochondrial function.

FOLATE VS SYNTHETIC FOLIC ACID
Folate and synthetic folic acid are both forms of vitamin B9 which is crucial for health, particularly for preventing neural tube defects and supporting DNA synthesis and repair. Folate and synthetic folic acid have differed in sources, chemical structures, absorption, and metabolism. Natural folate from food sources may be more beneficial for individuals with certain genetic variations affecting folic acid metabolism.
Folate is naturally found in various foods. Folic Acid is synthetic, found in supplements and fortified foods.
Folate can be directly used by the body after absorption and conversion in the digestive tract. Folic Acid requires conversion in the liver to become active; this conversion can be slow and less efficient in some individuals, especially those with MTHFR gene variants.
To help ensure optimal utilization of the folate in FertilOva, FertilOva features 5-MTHF, a more bioavailable form of folate than synthetic folic acid. Get the best bang for your buck when it comes to supplementing with this important vitamin!
